Finding snow

8:00 AM, we go to Gangnam bus terminal and have a breakfast at Dunkin Donuts. The heater bus departs from station at 10:40 AM and arrives at Jinan at 1:00 PM. We take a taxi to Jinan red ginseng spa hotel. The hotel's room has only slim mattresses and hot water flowing under floor. We have a lunch at Maisan piedmont. 


 

Kimchi soup with stewed pork rack and grilled pork rack are our lunch. We claim to the Tapsa Temple, located 1.9 km away from the southern parking lot of Maisan Mountain. Tapsa Temple is famous for the over 80 stone pagodas. Those stone pagodas have different sizes and shapes from cone-shaped to straight-shaped. We use all this afternoon here and come back to hotel. My dinner is instant noodle. Sleep tight. 



29 JAN 2013


9:30 AM, I have a breakfast, instant noodle, and go to ginseng spa. In spa zone, everybody must wear swimsuit. Spa set includes 1 high pressure pool, 2 stone treat, 3 ginseng private pool, 4 ginseng bubble, 5 herb treat, 6 mud treat and 7 sound treat. We take around 4 hours here. We take a taxi and go to ginseng market. The next target is Jeonju



4:00 PM, we are at Hanok village, Jeonju. Our homestay's room is very small and quiet. An ancient city with a 3000 years old history, Jeonju has several important cultural assets and facilities like the Gyeonggijeon Shrine, Omokdae Pavilion, and Hyanggyo. Moreover, there are a lot of museum in the village. you can come and embrace the 'slow city' style and immerse yourself in the history and tradition of Jeonju. 





The city is also famous for its scumptious cuisine. During walking around the city, we try several foods; red bean pancake, puffed gel with sugar. 6:00 PM, Our dinner today is traditional bibimbap, bulkoki and variety of side dish. Next, we go to Makgeolli steet, Jeonju downtown. Makgeolli (rice wine), Jokbal (stewed pork leg), and DooBoo Kimchi are oredered for this night. We take a taxi come back hotel and sleep quietly ...
